woo-hoo!! The decisions that I made are finally going into the house. I love it!! The hardwoods were installed last weekend and will be sanded and finished in a couple weeks. The cabinets, which I love, were just finished being installed yesterday. My favorite part is the stone that was finally put on the outside--we are still waiting for it to be completed, but it's a start. It felt like it took forever to get that started. I am loving how everything is turning out so far. The tile and granite installer was at the house today taking measurements. That should be installed next week. We feel so blessed to have the opportunities that have come our way. We thank all those that have helped us and supported us along this wonderful, long and sometimes difficult journey so far. The scaffolding is still up, but the rock is turning out nicely.

Jeremy's a Mason
This is Jeremy's latest work on the house. He isn't doing much of the tile in the house this time around, but he did do the upstairs bathroom with some tile he found on another jobsite. It looks awesome. And, of course, me being me, I couldn't make it easy on him. I didn't want a simple pattern, I had to offset the tiles. I love it.

It is beginning to take shape
Progress, progress, progress. It is really coming along now. We have a long way to go yet, but things are really shaping up. The interior paint is just about done (I have yet to take pics of that) and next up is hardwood floors, cabinets, tile and trim work. These shots are right after the walls were textured and primed. Everything in the house was so white.... View from dining room looking into foyer and office

What a difference a little drywall makes
The drywall is complete and it looks amazing!! The kids and I went to see the progress today and we could really visualize living there. They looked in their rooms and played on the stairs. We are getting close to the finish line. Next up is texturing and painting the walls. Stairs and dining room behind it
