Here are some pictures to bring everyone up to date on the current progress of the house. A lot has happened, but it's happening quite slowly right now. The siding is being put on now and that will be a big change for the exterior. All the windows are in. We have temporary doors installed and Jeremy has started the top out plumbing.
Here it is before the last few windows or temp doors were put in.

We've Been Framed!!
Huge progress the last couple weeks. The framing is almost complete. The roof is being put on next week and then it's the windows and siding. We can't believe the gorgeous weather we have been blessed with right now. It's perfect timing. We can't contain our excitement and are out there all the time just picturing ourselves living there in a few months. Entry way with the arch above the front door and the study to the left.
this is the garage and the entry to the house from the garage
Here is the formal dining room and the study off to the right.
This will be my pantry in the kitchen--yayyyy
Here are the kids checking out the kitchen and the nook
Madelyn takes a moment to enjoy the view
Here's the entry again after the second floor was framed
Here is the back of the house. The back of the garage is on the left, the nook is on the right with the great room in the middle.
The framers are hard at work putting the sheeting on the roof . Check out those blue skies.

Helping Hands
The kids were out helping Jeremy dig the water line. They were having a blast on the equipment and did a great job taking turns. Things slowed up a bit on the house the last couple weeks, but we are making progress again. Jeremy just finished the post and beam plumbing and the underfloor heat is being put in this week. Carson got promoted to supervisor

Ready to Pour
After just a couple weeks the changes are becoming more apparent. The forms are all done and the foundation is being poured today. I was hoping to get out there when the concrete pump truck was working, but I didn't time it right. Jeremy is doing the underground utilities this weekend. We are excited to see things moving right along. This is just the garage
This is the entry and study on the left
Carson is checking it out
Finally the house has a footprint.

Foundation Forms
The guys were out in the hot sun setting the forms for the foundation today. I took a trip out there to check on the progress and capture the moment, once again, on camera. What would we do without all those amazing and very useful connections of Jeremy's? This house wouldn't be possible without those hook-ups of his. We sure are lucky he makes friends easy. George wonders what this crazy lady is doing taking pictures......

Diggin' it
Bill finished digging out the foundation and the driveway today. It's amazing to watch the powerful machinery at work along with the skill that Bill has. Next step is the foundation and that is hopefully going to be started next week. Before
After--you can see the same tree in the background

The Land
Here is the beautiful land where our house will eventually sit. It is a peaceful, country spot not too far away from civilization and the mall--thank goodness. The views are beautiful and we can't wait to live the rural, somewhat country, lifestyle.
